Andrew & Jennifer Nicol left a message on June 14, 2021:
It breaks my heart to learn of young Alex's passing, no doubt, in any way compared to you his dear family and friends. I have had the joy of meeting him on my job sites when he delivered our materials, or at the shop when I came to pick up an order. He was always pleasant to work with. Very efficient and helpful. I can only imagine the huge impact his untimely death has had on so many and the hole left behind. My prayer is that you all can fill that void with all the memories of him in your heart. Using those to draw closer to one another and cherish the time you have together to share life's ups and downs. Find comfort in Christ Jesus and each other. We will continue to pray for you all. May God's grace fill your hearts. Big hugs to you all.

Prayers of peace and healing for the entire Switzer family. Alex was definitely one of a kind, and I sure am going to miss his goofy wave when he said hi every time I saw him. #2 is and will always be an ILB4Life! - Coach Barrett

Scott - Melanie: Words can never express how devastated we are about Alex. He was never just an employee, he was part of the family; very much loved by everyone here and well liked by all of the customers he came in contact with. Take pride in the strong work ethic Alex had - it was instilled by the two of you, and Richland Lumber is better for everything he did. Our deepest prayers and condolences go out to you both, also Nick and Jackson. Alex will never be forgotten - he was, is, and always will be a part of the Richland Lumber family.
