I knew Clyde when he drove for Preston; I was one of his regular stops for freight five days every week for many years. We became good friends and I recognized his deep love for his family, particularly "His Barby". He was a man who was a friend to everyone and would give you his last nickel! Clyde was a dear and precious soul!!!

Clyde was a very good friend who rescued me from Mansfield General Hospital when my husband had a heart attack the day before the Blizzard in 1978 and was in I.C.U. Clyde came to the hospital to take me home after three days. On the way home he said "Jeannie I will get you home one way or the other" - look in the back. He had a snowmobile, boots, snowsuit, gloves everything he would need to get me home. Took our sons to the store and then took me back to the hospital. That was Clyde a very passionate person and a good friend. Always there if you needed him. Rest In Peace My Dear Friend,
