Eleanor J. Bidinger, 81, of Mansfield, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born March 5, 1929 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Steven and Anna Letang Them. She was a devoted wife of 43 years and a loving mother. While raising her family she worked full time, cared for her parents, and managed to support local community activities. She liked to paint and was very artistic. An independent and self sufficient woman, Eleanor liked to travel with her family to the ocean, especially the Outerbanks. Her family always came first, as she was their foundation. She always enjoyed loving and caring for her grandchildren. She was the heart and soul of her family of four daughters and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. Her family was sacred to her. She was the Matriarch that held the family together. She never refused to help others.
She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Roger Amos, Leslie Bidinger, Rai Lynn Bidinger Randy, Stacy James Entrup; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Brian Martin, Laura Lynn Shayne Kramer, Michael Pashelich Sara, Anna Ball, Zachary Ball, Ryan Liersemann Dan, Ross Ashley Liersemann, Rachael Liersemann Ben, and Kelly Fanello; great grandchildren, Amaya Martin, Alyssa Kramer, Andria Kramer, Corey Pasheilich, Tiffany Pasheilich, Brynley Liersemann, McKenzie Montanez, and Hailea Montanez; great great granddaughter, Little Emmalee; sister, Carolyn Miller; niece, Sandra Rick Louden; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Bidinger and great grandson, Diego.
Friends may call Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
