This man inspired me to be a stronger union member and is the reason why I attended my first meeting. I loved to ask him about his grand kids because it was one of his favorite subjects.I know he has trained alot of men and proud to have been one of them .Truly breaks my heart to hear of his passing. Love and prayers for his family .

Jr was like my brother. I loved him and I am gonna miss him! We grew up together and for a time Jr lived with my Family in Olive Hill, Kentucky. We all lived together with Grandma Myrtle Tackett, my Mom Mary Anne Lawhorn who passed away three years ago, My Brother Steve, Sister Mabel, and Jr's Father Roy. That house got small back... When we moved to Mansfield, Ohio, (early 70's) Jr lived with us off and on. He was a very free spirited person. He'd leave and be gone for weeks then show up, and it would be like he was never gone. We traveled back and forth to Ky, and smoked a semi-truck load of weed long before it became fashionable. Probably drank that much in beer to. We had a lot of incredible good times and I will miss being able to call him up and get the latest news about the good ol'boys and gals of Mansfield, Ohio. Jr is united with Faye their's is a true love story.
