With heartfelt sympathy I am missing Gloria, my step-grandmother, along with the Crawford family. Such a fun woman she was, always able to enjoy life and laugh at the little things. She was an inspiration.

Gloria sat near me in the pews at Holy Trinity Lutheran Chirch. I sent her cards, so that she knew her Ho;y Trinity Family remembered her. I enjoyed conversations with her as shared news about her family. You have my sympathy on your loss,
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I remember as a child sitting at the dinning room table as you prepared pancakes for me before school in the mornings and waiting on the bus. I remember riding all kinds of roller coasters at cedar point with you, and now looking back I realize how amazing it is that you were able to do that! I remember the holidays and birthdays and the gold sticker on all of your cards, (you even tried to not put them on a couple times to trick me). I remember how when I first went out on my own you understood that birthday money was spent on bills so you made sure I also did something nice for myself too. I remember how happy you were for me when I got married. You gave me many great memories to cherish. You will forever be loved.

I am so sorry to learn that Aunt Gloria has died. She was my Mom’s best friend in high school. Aunt Gloria introduced her brother, William, to my Mom. They were subsequently married. As a child, I remember Aunt Gloria was a fantastic cook and baker. There was always dessert which I loved. She canned everything in sight. I was always so amazed by her canning abilities. At Christmas, she made the most delicious fudge, divinity and hard candies. I could never get enough. I remember her long blonde hair, braided and wrapped around her head. She had the most wonderful fruit and vegetable garden not to mention the grape arbor. She always stood tall with straight posture and she was very tall! She had a great laugh and a deep voice that was so very distinctive. My father loved her (his sister) very much!
