I was so shocked to hear of Greg's passing. We lived down the street from the Gerich's on Gibson Ave. Greg drove us to Malabar everyday, after walking to Appleseed when we were in Jr High. We had lots of good times in the neighborhood, at the skating rink at Prospect Park and all the high school events. He was always such a happy and positive person and a good friend. Unfortunately for me, I lost contact with him as I moved around the state with my career. My deepest sympathies to his family and Rick and Ellen. God bless all.

Linda So sorry for your loss! Greg was a great guy.having spent 25 plus years of my life on the sidelines or in a dugout in north central ohio our paths crossed many times. He was a great official always in control but never overbearing. He always had time to explain to the players and coaches as well! Many player learned about the game and it's expectations from him! A class act!!
