I miss You so much! I miss Your jokes and You feeding me constantly. No matter whether I liked it or not, You always made sure I was fed. I miss Your cooking. I miss Your cussing when something upset You. Nobody in the whole world can cuss better than You do! You always amazed me! You had such a good heart. Spoiling our cat rotten. Feeding her special tuna (now she won't eat cat food lol). And feeding all the other animals outside too. I'm sure You are feeding all the animals in Heaven right now. Most of all I love how much You loved me. I felt Your love so deeply looking into Your eyes. You were my soulmate. I hope Heaven spoils You as much as I did. And please get along with Your brother up there. You're my Angel. Waiting for You to come back down to earth.

To the King family. I didn't have the opportunity to get to see Greg perform. I was friends with him on Facebook. But, we never talked. I enjoyed his post, mainly about his band and singing. He was my kind of guy, for the simple fact he was an 80's hair band kinda guy. I can't begin to imagine what your feeling. You will have many sad days ahead. And that's normal. Take your time, don't rush the grieving process. Continued prayers for you and your family. May Angel's rest upon your pillows.

This is just so sad to have happened. I last saw Greg on March 13th while I was out celebrating my birthday and went to the bar where his band was performing. He always had a smile on his face. I've seen him many times over many years from the areas jam nights. He was the ultimate classic rock front man in his bands. With his killer vocals, clothes and posing he was a true rocker on stage. He was always a nice friendly guy. I remember the first time I saw him was when he was with his twin brother back in the very early 1980's when they had a show in Willard at the bowling alley bar. His passing is a huge loss to the music community in the Mansfield area.

I wish I had the opportunity to get to know him better. However, I remember his beautiful voice and how he sang to his daughter Kristina at her and my son James wedding reception. Everyone there felt and heard his beautiful God given gift. The lyrics that he wrote “ A place called heaven” is a sentiment we all share . That is the greatest gift we give to each other....thoughts and prayers. I will keep Gregory King in my prayers just as he asked and for his family during this difficult time.
