I have a great deal of respect for Wilbur. He was a joy to work with when I served at Mansfield Trinity. He was hard-working, generous, and friendly. I appreciate the conversations we shared, including a meal we shared together the Fall after I retired in Mt. Vernon. I am praying for the family. Bob Stull

My sincere condolences to the entire Hammett Family. When I became President of KMI in 2000 I was introduced to Wilbur as a customer at our Mansfield facility. When I retired in 2013 I was proud to call Wilbur my friend. He was a man of the highest integrity and the quality of his work was second to none. I’m sure he is so proud that his sons and now his grandson will continue the family business with the same high standards. A true family man, wonderful person and friend to many, he will be missed but not forgotten. God bless you my friend. May you Rest In Peace. I’m a better person because I knew you Bob Bailey
